In a second game of a District IV Class AAA doubleheader at Loyalsock, the Lancers hosted North Penn-Mansfield on Friday, February 21.

In a 1-8 match up in the opening round of the District IV Class AAA girls basketball playoffs, the Loyalsock Lancers defeated Wellsboro 66-28 on Friday, February 21.

Two years ago Conner Rude’s friends convinced him to come out for tennis in the spring. Last Saturday, Rude was representing Loyalsock at the District 4 Singles Championships after earning a trip there thanks to a productive second season playing tennis.

Loyalsock fought for three hours in the spring sun.  The Lancers made crucial plays in the air, on the ground, and while batting. Despite their efforts, it was not enough to overcome Warrior Run’s stellar defense as they fell to them 7-6.

She had the determination of getting at least one more RBI before the Lancers would 10-run-rule the Hughesville Spartans. She had a perfect ball down the middle and hit it to centerfield and over the fence. She had gotten a two-run home run and her second RBI of the game, getting one of the final runs to win over Hughesville 14-2.

CROSSLEY For the Loyalsock Lancers  WILLIAMSPORT—During the offseason Loyalsock’s Isabell Sagar decided she would take on her training and preparation by herself as she prepared for her senior season with the Lancers.  She worked tirelessly and dedicated herself to running. The work has paid off early in the season as she has posted sub 11-minute 3,200 and miles in the low five-minutes. She has been outstanding and her discipline and training has been on full display throughout the season.
