The Wellsboro Hornets Sports Booster Club held their annual banquet June 1 in the Wellsboro High School Gym. The banquet recognizes not only senior athletes and their accomplishments, but accomplishments by all athletes throughout the entire school year.

The Wellsboro Green Hornets dropped their first game of the 2009 season to the Troy Trojans Friday night in Wellsboro.
