Canton fell to Athens, 72-19, during NTL boys' hoops action Wednesday.
Athens led 31-5 after one, and never looked back.
Monte Whitehead had eight points to lead Canton with Teyton Thompson scoring five. Ryder Route had four, with Kix Carr adding two.
Eli Hobday had 14 to lead Athens.
Whitehead had four points to lead Canton in the first half as they were down 50-8 at the break.
They did play them tough in the fourth, being out scored 10-9, as Thompson had all five points in the frame.
