Troy Gets Senior Night Win Over Wyalusing

After a close first quarter Troy slowly pulled away from Wyalusing to earn a 60-40 boys' basketball win during NTL action Friday.

The Trojans led 11-10 after one, then out scored the Rams 14-5 in the second to take a 25-15 lead at the half.

The offenses opened up in the third with Troy getting the best of Wyalusing, 21-16, to go up 46-31 into the fourth quarter. In the final frame the Trojans out scored the Rams 14-9 to secure the win.

Trey Teribury had 21 points, seven rebounds, two steals, and two blocks, as Aiden Lawrence showed out on senior night with 15 points, nine boards, and six assists.

Fellow senior Cameron Morey netted seven points, as Spencer Martin added seven points, six boards, and five assists.

Josiah Pesesky had four points, and two steals, while James Roy, Landon Cole, and Evan Allen had two points apiece. Roy also had two steals, as Pryor Teribury grabbed six boards, and handed out six assists.

Shay Gartland had 10 points to lead Wyalusing, as Parker Cunningham netted eight. Myles Kershner notched seven, with Noah Kilmer, and Tyler Caplan scoring six points each.

Cam Cole rounded out the scorers with three.

Lawrence came out strong for Troy, netting six points in the first quarter, while Gartland, and Caplan had four points each to help Wyalusing keep pace.

In the second Lawrence added five more points, while Trey also notched five points to help Troy open the 10-point lead at the half.

Cunningham would net six points to lead the Rams in their resurgent third, but Trey led Troy's strong response, netting eight points, while Morey had five.

Trey added five more points in the fourth to bring home the win for the Trojans.
