Athens Boys, Girls Register Wins Over Central Columbia, Wellsboro

ATHENS - The Athens boys and girls both registered wins over Wellsboro and Central Columbia here Friday in non-league swimming action, with the Lady Wildcats winning the meet-closing 400 free relay to secure the victory.

Juniors Brayden Pettitt and Eli Hicks were quad-winners to lead the Athens to an 82-69 win over Central Columbia, and a 99-27 win over Wellsboro.

Seniors Evelyn Panek and Elizabeth Denlinger each won four events, and senior Olivia Thompson was a triple-winner to lead the Lady Wildcats to a 74-68 win over Central Columbia, and a 78-32 win over Wellsboro.
