ATHENS - Swimming for the second time in less than 24 hours, the Athens boys recorded a big win over Lewisburg here Saturday, while the Lady Wildcats fell in non-league swimming action.
On Friday, both Athens teams earned wins over Central Columbia and Wellsboro.
The Athens boys won 11 of 12 events on their way to a 106-18 win over Lewisburg.
Juniors Brayden Pettitt, Eli Hicks, and Jacob Shores were quad-winners for the Wildcats, and Dominic Musick was a triple-winner.
The Lady Wildcats only won two events in an 82-54 loss to Lewisburg.
Panek logged Athens' only win in an individual event, clocking in at 25.94 seconds to win the 50-yard freestyle. She finished second in the 100-yard butterfly in a time of 1:10.6.
