Wyalusing Edges Wellsboro By 3 Strokes At Tyoga

Wyalusing shot a combined score of 173 to edge out Wellsboro (176) at the Hornets' home course at Tyoga Monday.
Wellsboro also defeated Sayre (248) to finish 1-1 on the day.
Junior Syler Pietrzyk led everyone on the afternoon with a round of 37. Freshman Benjamin Jackson shot a round of 44, sophomore Chase Schultz carded a 47, junior Mason Brill recorded a 48, senior Kiernen Whitsell finished with a 49, and freshman Samuel Jackson rounded out the team with a 51.
Wellsboro (19-8) travels to Mill Hall on Thursday for a non-league match up with Jersey Shore.
