Warriors Track Teams Swept By Wyalusing

Canton fell to Wyalusing in boys and girls track and field action. The boys lost 96-53, while the girls fell 85-64.

Canton's Kendall Kitchen won the 100 in 12.9, while teammate Haley Larsen (13.8) was third.

Canton went 1-2 in the 400 with Danah Wesneski (1:06.1) and Layla Frisbie (1:06.2), with Savannah Boyles (53.1) in second in the 300 hurdles.

Kitchen (28.2) and Wesneski (28.7) went 1-2 in the 200 with Veronica West (3:19.1) taking third in the 800.

The 4x400 won in 5:01.6 as Silva Koernig (15:47) was third in the 3200.

Alexis McRoberts (32-feet, 6-inches) and Emilia Pepper (29-feet, 11 1/2-inches) went 2-3 in the shot put. McRoberts (110-feet, 10-inches) won the discus with Pepper (67-feet, 1-inch) in third.

Stella Rockwell (14-feet, 2-inches) was second in the long jump while winning the triple jump in 30-feet, 9 1/2-inches. Larsen (4-feet, 8-inches) was second in the high jump.

Kitchen (10-feet) won the pole vault and Pepper (80-feet, 2-inches) won the javelin, as McRoberts (74-feet) was third.

For the boys Canton's 4x800 relay won in 10:20, as Thomas Guindon (18.8) was third in the 110 hurdles.

Chase Petrowski (12.0) was second in the 100, as Lawrence Halbfoerster (4:59) won the 1600, with teammate Manuel Halbfoerster (5:02) in second.

Joshua Hess (59.2) was third in the 400 with teammate John Whitehead (46.5) third in the 300 hurdles.

Lawrence Halbfoerster (2:12) won the 800 with teammate Nehemiah Wolcott (2:37) in third. Petrowski (25.5) won the 200 as Sawyer Vroman (14:46) came in third in the 3200.

Canton's 4x400 won in 3:48.

Wyatt Hilton won the shot put (40-feet, 3-inches) and the discus (115-feet, 2-inches) as teammate Talin Williams (113-feet, 9-inches) was second.

Quincy Wesneski (118-feet, 5-inches) and Hilton (116-feet, 11-inches) went 2-3 in the javelin.
