Canton couldn't slow down Williamson in their 22-13 loss during NTL baseball action.
Canton jumped out to a 6-0 lead in the first, with both teams getting a run in the third. In the top of the fourth Canton pushed their lead to 8-1, but Williamson came back fast in the bottom half, rolling off 10 runs to take an 11-8 lead.
After a scoreless fifth Canton retook the lead with a 5-run sixth, only to watch Williamson rattle off 11 in the bottom half to get the win.
Mason Stierly (2-for-3) had a triple, 3-RBI, and a run scored for Canton, as Reed Taylor (2-for-4) had 3-RBI, with a run scored.
Aiden Dowling (2-for-4) scored twice, with Michael Beers (1-for-3) getting a double with a run scored, and an RBI.
Bailey Gardner (1-for-4) scored twice, as Carson Castle (1-for-3) scored twice, and drove in a run. Luke Crawley crossed home three times.
Tommy Preston (1-for-3) and Ben Fitch each had an RBI, with Lee Tubach (1-for-1) getting a hit.
Seven different pitchers saw the mound for Canton as Taylor went the first two innings with four strikeouts, one walk, and two hits.
Beers tossed the next inning, striking out two with tow walks, one hit, and one earned run.
Isaiah Colton would come on, and didn’t record an out, allowing two hits, two walks, and four earned runs. Castle came on for him, going one inning, with two strikeouts, one walk, three hits, and six runs, none of which were earned.
Rylan Wesneski pitched an inning with three strikeouts, four walks, three hits, and six runs, five of which were earned.
Dowling would then take the mound, but didn’t record an out, allowing two walks, and four runs, three of which were earned.
Grant Pepper finished things out, going an inning with two strikeouts, three hits, and one earned run.
