Warrior Runners Top CV, Sayre To Remain Undefeated

The Canton boys cross-country team stayed undefeated as they topped Sayre and CV Tuesday.
The Warriors beat CV 20-32, and Sayre 15-50.
Lawrence Halbfoerster (13:36) won the 2.5 mile race with CV's Hunter Simonds (14:14) second.
Canton took the next two spots with Manuel Halbfoerster (14:35) and Landon Lake (15:27).
Nicholas Weaver (16:26) and Chase Petrowski were eighth and ninth overall.
On the girls' side Katherine Wiles (21:01) was the fourth female runner overall.
In junior high action Canton's Ben Wile (9:09) was third overall for the boys, while Elizabeth Halbfoerster (9:15) was the fourth overall girl.
