Troy Girls Sweep Williamson In Volleyball Opener

Troy swept Williamson, 3-0, during to win their season opener in NTL volleyball action Tuesday.
The Trojans won the tough sets 26-24, 25-17, and 26-24.
Aryana Andrus had 10 kills, two aces, three digs, and seven blocks for the Trojans with Haidyn Watson getting five kills, two aces, and eight digs.
Alexa Lawrence had three kills, one assist, one ace, and six digs, with Brenna Jackson adding three kills, eight assists, one ace, and six digs.
Liana Lyon had eight digs with three assists, and one ace as Alli Bailey had 10 digs, one kill, and five assists.
Amber White had a kill and a dig while Bella Wood also had a dig.
Troy (1-0) will host Athens on Thursday.
