Troy Girls Fall To Holy Redeemer In PIAA First Round

Troy volleyball fell 3-1 to Holy Redeemer during the first round of the PIAA, Class AA Volleyball Playoffs Tuesday.

The Trojans lost the firs two sets 25-19 and 25-18 before rallying to win 25-19. However, the Royals stormed back for a 25-8 victory in the fourth set.

Aryana Andrus had 13 kills, five blocks, and three digs in the loss for Troy as Brenna Jackson had 24 assists, two kills, and 10 digs.

Amber White had three kills, one assist, and four digs, with Haidyn Watson adding six kills, one ace, and 12 digs.

Bella Wood had two kills, one block, and a dig, as Alli Bailey chipped in with 12 digs, and a kill.

Alexa Lawrence notched two kills, one assist, and five digs, as Liana Lyon had five digs.
