Athens hit a seventh inning home run to edge Troy, 1-0, in NTL softball action.
Olivia Champluvier battled in the circle, going seven innings to strikeout six with no walks, three hits, and the one earned run.
Madi Palmer (1-for-3) had the team’s lone hit.
