Trojans Pull Away From Jersey Shore With 25-Point 3rd Quarter

Troy used a big third quarter to pull away from Jersey Shore, 73-58, during non-league boys' basketball action Saturday.

Troy led 29-28 at the half, but then poured in 25 points in the third to take control of the game. The out scored the Bulldogs 19-17 in the fourth to secure the win.

Evan Woodward, and Lincoln Chimics combined for 40 points to lead Troy. Woodward had 20 points, five assists, four boards, and four steals, as Chimics notched 20 points, seven boards, and four steals.

Jack Burbage had nine points, five rebounds, and six assists, with Trey Teribury getting nine points, as well.

Joseph Frye had eight points, four assists, and four steals, while Spencer Martin finished with seven points, to go with five boards.
