Troy hit eight 3-pointers as they stayed undefeated in NTL boys' basketball action Thursday, beating Athens 58-23.
The Trojans jumped out to a 19-4 first quarter lead and never looked back.
Lincoln Chimics had 16 points, six boards, and three steals to lead Troy, as Jack Burbage, and Trey Teribury added 12 points apiece. Burbage also had 11 boards for the double-double, along with three assists, and three steals.
Joseph Frye notched eight points, seven rebounds, three assists, and three steals, with Evan Woodward getting three points, six assists, and four steals.
Spencer Martin had three points, and two steals, with Joey Lackey and Eason Teribury chipping in with two points apiece.
Troy hosts Canton on Saturday with a 7 p.m. start.
