Towanda Shuts Out Wellsboro 2-0 In Junior High Volleyball

Towanda shut out Wellsboro 2-0 on Wednesday.
The young Lady Knights won 25-18 and 25-17.
Reese Eckart led the team with 5 points (3 aces), 2 kills and 2 digs while Rachel Weaver had 5 points (3 aces) and 2 assist. Taeber Rodriguez had 5 points and a ace, Lila Morey scored 2 points, and Nora Mickey added a dig.
Towanda also pulled off the sweep in the B game, winning 25-20 and 25-22. Leah Szentesy scored 5 points (2 aces) and Ella Satalin added 3 points (3 aces).
The young Lady Hornets (8-6) host Troy on Saturday morning.
