A late North Penn-Mansfield rally doomed Troy in their 6-4 loss to the Tigers during NTL baseball action.
A 4-run sixth inning by the Tigers was the difference as they took a 2-0 lead in the top of the first. Troy got those runs back in the bottom half of the inning.
It stayed tied until the fifth when the Trojans pushed two more across for a 4-2 lead. However, in the top of the sixth NP-Mansfield scored four to go back up by two.
Troy threatened in the sixth, and seventh innings, but couldn't get anybody home.
Joseph Frye (2-for-3), and Brendan Gilliland (2-for-4) each had home runs, with Gilliland scoring twice.
Reed Palmer (1-for-3) also had a hit, as Mason Smith (2-for-4) crossed home.
