South Williamsport Rallies Past Canton, 13-6

Canton led 6-2 halfway through the game, but South Williamsport rallied in the second half for a 13-6 win during non-league baseball action.

The Warriors used three runs in the first, and three more in the fourth to take a 6-2 lead midway through the contest.

South rallied with six in the bottom half of the inning to go ahead, then added another in the fifth, and put the game out of reach with four in the sixth.

Ben Fitch (2-for-3) had a double, with two runs scored, and an RBI to lead Canton, as Mason Stierly (2-for-4) drove in a run.

Mason Beers (1-for-4) had a double with 2-RBI, and a run scored, as Bailey Gardner (1-for-3) scored twice, and had an RBI.

Carson Castle (1-for-4) rocked a double and scored, as Aaden Dowling (1-for-4) drove in a run.

Zack Colton got the start, and went 3 1/3-innings for the no decision. He struck out two with five hits, five walks, and six runs, five of which were earned.

Garnder went the next one-third, and takes the loss, allowing three walks, and two earned runs.

Beers tossed the final 2 1/3-innings, with one strikeout, three hits, two walks, and five runs, one of which was earned.
