Six Wildcats Medal In 11th-Place Finish At Southern Tier Memorial

ELMIRA - Sophomores Zaine Campbell and Connor Davidson each finished fourth to lead six Wildcat grapplers on to the podium here Saturday at the third annual Southern Tier Memorial at the LeCom Events Center.

Freshman Treyton Barrett and sophomore Lucas Persun each finished seventh, and junior Karson Sipley and sophomore Brendan Cooke were eighth-place finishers for the Wildcats, who finished 11th in the 38-team field.

Chambersburg (Pa.) won the team title with 193 points, edging runner-up Bellefonte Area (Pa.) by 3.5 points. Penns Valley (Pa.) was third with 167 points, St. Anthony's was fourth with 137.5 points, and Waverly was fifth with 135 points. Tioga finished 10th with 103.5 points, and Athens tallied 100 points.
