Mounties Pull Away From Canton With Big 3rd Quarter

Canton hung with North Penn-Liberty for the first half, but a 27-point third quarter by the Mounties helped them pull away for a 76-53 win during NTL boys' hoops action Friday.
NPL led 20-14 after one, and 39-29 at the half before the big third frame.
Ben Fitch had 20 points to lead Canton, with Talin Williams adding 13.
Andrew Smith and Monte Whitehead had eight points apiece, as Simon Wile, and Gunnar Resavage both scored two.
