Maddie Hiley Tosses No-Hitter; Athens Blanks Canton, 11-0

CANTON - In just her second start of the season, junior Maddie Hiley tossed a no-hitter to lead Athens to an 11-0 five-inning win over Canton here Wednesday afternoon in NTL softball action.
With Wildcat ace Gretchan Hiley out of action, Maddie Hiley (her sister) fanned four and walked three to earn the win.
Gretchan Hiley has four 1-hitters and five shutouts to her credit this season, but the no-hitter is the first of the season for the 18-1 Wildcats.
