Lady Warriors Sweep South Williamsport In Three Close Sets

CANTON - Canton earned a hard fought sweep of South Williamsport during non-league volleyball action Monday.
All three sets were close as the Warriors won 28-26, 26-24, and 25-21.
Adelynn Cardona had 21 points, four aces, two kills, two digs, one block, and one assist for Canton with Brenna VanNoy getting 12 points, 21 assists, two aces, four digs, and one kill.
Kaybree Kendall notched 10 points, 13 digs, and five aces, as Cailyn VanNoy had 11 points, eight digs, eight kills, one assist, and an ace.
Tara Gilbert had seven points, seven kills, 11 digs, three aces, and an assist, with Danah Wesneski getting three kills, four digs, and two points.
Makenna Seachrist notched eight kills, Nevaeh Vroman had three digs, Ashley Valera added two digs, and Alyssa May had one dig.
Canton rolled to a 2-0 win in the JV match, taking the sets 25-19, and 25-8.
Raya Preston had seven assists, five aces, and two digs as Lindley Sechrist notched three kills, and four digs.
Hannah Walters had four aces, and a kill with Emile Walker getting four kills, one dig, and one assist.
Emilia Pepper had three aces, Amelia Pepper notched two kills, and four digs, with Lexi McMurray getting four digs.
