The Canton girls' track and field team opened the season going 1-1 during NTL tri-meet action.
The Warriors scored 56 points, ahead of NEB (46), but behind Towanda (83).
Canton's Kendall Kitchen (12.78) won the 100, with teammate Hayley Larson (13.92) in third. Their 4x100 relay won in 55.19.
Canton's Danah Wesneski (52.82) was second in the 300 hurdles.
Kitchen (27.76) won the 200 in 27.76, and the pole vault in 9-feet, 6-inches. Alexis McRoberts (94-feet, 2 1/2-inches) was second in the discus, and won the shot put in 30-feet.
Stella Rockwell won the long jump (14-feet, 1/2-inch), the triple jump (28-feet, 7-inches), and took third in the high jump (4-feet, 4-inches). Savannah Boyles (12-feet, 6 1/2-inches) was third in the long jump.
Canton took third on the boys' side with 58 points, as NEB (69) won, followed by Towanda (61) in second.
Canton's 4x800 was second in 9:47.41.
Canton swept the 110 hurdles with Thomas Guindon (19.25), and Monte Whitehead (19.47). Aiden Petrowski (12.09) was second in the 100, and in the 200 in 25.06.
Lawrence Halbfoerster (6:02.44) won the 1600, while their 4x100 relay (49.35) came in second. Joshua Hess (1:00.04) was third in the 400.
The Warriors swept the 300 hurdles with Simon Wile (49.49), Guindon (49.50), and Whitehead (52.06). Halbfoerster was second in the 800 in 2:16.72.
Canton's 4x400 relay was third in 4:04.25.
Rylan Wesneski (114-feet, 9-inches) won the javelin, with Wile second in the long jump at 15-feet, 1/2-inch.
