Wellsboro improved to 3-0 on the young season by sweeping South Williamsport at home on Tuesday night.
The Lady Hornets dominated the game, winning 25-10, 25-5 and 25-11.
Wellsboro's JV team also won relatively easy as they defeated South 2-0 (25-6, 25-12).
Junior Madison Cruttenden led the Lady Hornets with 20 points (9 aces) and 7 digs, sophomore Peyton Keane had 14 kills, 9 points and 5 aces, junior Ellie Largey made 21 assists and scored 19 points (4 aces), and sophomore Kendall Sweet made 5 kills.
Junior Blake Eckart made 5 digs and had 3 kills and senior Brooke Wheeler also added 3 kills.
The Lady Hornets (3-0, 2-0 NTL Large School Division) are back in action Thursday at Wyalusing.
