Junior Lauren Kosek took home the top spot with a time of 21:44 to help the Wellsboro Girls Varsity Cross Country team split an NTL tri-meet with Towanda and Wyalusing on Tuesday afternoon.
Wellsboro edged Wyalusing 27-28 and fell 22-33 to Towanda.
Freshman Kaci Kosek (25:38) finished 5th, senior Sophia Yoder (28:05) was 11th, sophomore Luisa Crocco (31:40) came home 13th, sophomore Molly Tice (31:48) was 15th, and sophomore Anja Przybycien (33:20) rounded out the team in 16th.
In the Junior High race Summer Boder (15:42) finished 4th and Brianna O'Shea Losinger (17:04) was 6th.
The team is back in action Saturday at the McQuaid Invite.
