JV Hornets Fall To Towanda

Wellsboro's JV Football team dropped a hard-fought game to Towanda Monday at the Black Knights' Endless Mountains Athletic Complex.
The Black Knights defeated the Hornets 12-6. Junior Asher Davenport ran back an interception for a touchdown for Wellsboro's lone score of the evening.
The loss drops the Hornets to 1-2 on the year. The team will return to action on September 29 at Athens.
