The Wellsboro Swim teams each picked up victories over Mifflinburg as they took part in a quad meet at Williamsport on Tuesday.
The boys team beat Mifflinburg 20-12 while the girls won 52-0. Both teams also fell to Central Mountain. The Wildcats beat the Hornets 131-17 and the Lady Hornets, 128-26.
For the boys sophomore Ethan Pollaro was 6th in both the 100 Free (1:04.69) and 200 IM (2:50.45) while freshman Matthew Robbins was 2nd in the 500 Free (5:34.77) and 3rd in the 200 Free (2:02.85).
for the girls junior Makenna Robbins was 2nd in the 100 Breast (1:19.76) and 3rd in the 100 Free (1:02.08), freshman Piper Anderegg finished 2nd in both the 200 Free (2:10.94) and 500 Free (5:57.29), junior Kristina Belz was 7th in the 50 Free (31.54) and 100 Back (1:24.13), and freshman Molly Doan was 8th in the 50 Free (40.21) and 100 Back (1:51.78).
The teams are back in the pool Saturday at the Williamsport Coaches Invite before finishing the regular season Monday at Towanda.
