Canton out scored Sullivan County by 19 in the second quarter as they rolled to a 42-29 win during the North Penn-Liberty girls' basketball tournament Friday.
Cailyn Van Noy dropped 13 points to go with five steals to lead the Warriors as Stella Rockwell had nine points, including a 3-for-6 night shooting inside the arc, plus three steals.
Cheyenne Fitch had eight points, with Alexis McRoberts adding four points, and six boards.
Brenna Van Noy notched three points as Emma McGhee and Danah Wesneski had two points apiece. Daveian Crowley chipped in with seven rebounds.
Ansley Baldwin had 15 to lead the Griffins while Eva Fresno netted nine. Lily McCarty scored four, with Grace Zelewicz adding two.
Canton led just 8-5 after the first quarter as Rockwell had four points.
In the second Van Noy went off for 10 while Fitch had four with the Warriors building a 29-7 lead at the half.
Both teams had six points each in the third, while the Griffins out scored Canton 16-7 in the fourth.
