Athens' Shores Leads Valley Contingent At Dash In The Dark

OWEGO - Athens junior Jacob Shores posted a top-20 finish to lead the Valley contingent, which also included runners from Waverly and Tioga, here at the second annual "Dash in the Dark" at Owego Free Academy.

There were 302 boys runners combined between varsity (179) and JV (123) field, and 186 more in the junior high race.

Shores clocked in at 17:09.1 to finish 19th, and junior Matt Rossettie was 31st in 17:35.8.
