Athens Girls Top Wellsboro; Boys Fall

ATHENS - Wellsboro claimed two of the top three spots, but Athens' depth prevailed in a 25-35 win here Tuesday afternoon in NTL girls cross country action, while the Wildcat boys dropped a 21-35 decision.

Alissa Vough finished second in a time of 21:14 to pace the Wildcats.

Juniors Jacob Shores (17:50) and Matt Rossettie (19:22) finished third and fourth, respectively, for the Wildcats.

Tim Birney
