MILL HALL, Pa. - Athens struggled from the field at the the halftime break, and Central Martinsburg used a 13-3 third-quarter run to blow open a tie game en route to a 40-24 win here Saturday in the consolation game of the Central Mountain Girls Basketball Tip-Off Tournament.
Sophomore Allie Kemp scored five points for the Wildcats in the first quarter, and sophomore Alissa Vough added a bucket as the two teams battled to a 7-7 deadlock through the first eight minutes.
