Canton boys' basketball fell victim to a hot shooting Athens team, losing 66-38 during NTL boys' basketball action.
The Wildcats hit seven 3-balls en route to a 39-15 lead at the half. Canton rallied with an 18-point third quarter but couldn’t get back in the game.
Ben Fitch went 6-for-8 for 18 points to lead the Warriors, while adding five boards, while Brayden Vroman had eight points and seven rebounds.
Gunnar Resavage netted four points, as Talin Williams had three points, six rebounds, and two steals.
Andrew Smith also had three points, with Lance Route scoring two points to go with two steals.
