Wellsboro Girls Have 3-Game Win Streak Snapped In 2-0 Loss to Loyalsock

Loyalsock scored a pair of goals to score a 2-0 win over the Wellsboro Varsity Girls Soccer team, ending a three-game win streak, on Saturday, October 12.

Lauren O'Malley scored both goals for the Lady Lancers.

Loyalsock out shot Wellsboro 16-2 on the morning and had a slight 4-3 edge in corner kicks.

Sophomore Jadyn Dunlap recorded 14 saves in goal.

Loyalsock won the9-on-9 modified JV game 3-0, scoring once in the first half and twice in the second.

Wellsboro falls to 5-8-2 overall. The team travels to Jersey Shore for a non-league game this afternoon before hosting Williamson in their final league game Tuesday and Muncy on Thursday.
