Troy managed just three hits in their 5-0 loss to North Penn-Liberty.
Kali Ayres (2-for-3) and Olivia Champluvier (1-for-3) had the three Trojan hits on the day. They didn't get a runner past first until the seventh inning when they got runners in scoring position, but couldn't move them across.
Ayres started, and took the loss, going 3 2/3-innings with two walks, five hits, and five runs, while Lauren Ridall went the final 2 1/3-innings with one strikeout, no walks, and two hits.
