Troy Girls Fall To Hughesville In D4 Class 3A Semis

Troy lost contact with Hughesville in the second half as they fell 55-40 during District IV, Class AAA girls' basketball semifinal action.
They had a pair of leads in the second quarter but were out scored 18-6 in the third and never recovered.
Senior Katie Lackey led the way with 14 points and five boards, while Giana Renzi netted 10 points, including two 3-balls.
Kailyn Sterling had nine points, six rebounds, and two assists, as Gloria Andrew had three points. Alyssa Parks battled four trouble all night long, and finished with just two points, while Ella VanNoy chipped in with two points, as well.
