Troy Girls Edged Williamson In 2OT

Troy held on late to beat Williamson, 50-49, in double overtime during NTL girls' basketball action.
It was back and forth early with the Trojans taking a 6-point lead into the fourth quarter. Williamson rallied to tie-up, and it stayed that way until an 8-0 run in the second overtime put Troy up enough to hang on for the win.
Katie Lackey led the team with 14 points, five boards, and three assists, while Kailyn Sterling added a double-double of 12 points and 16 boards to go with five assists, three blocks, and four steals.
Alyssa Parks had 10 points and 13 rebounds for her own double-double, plus four assists, as Gloria Andrews scored eight points on 4-for-4 shooting inside the arc. She also had five rebounds.
Giana Renzi notched four points with two steals, as Kendall Allen had two points, four boards, and three blocks.
