Troy ran for 525 yards as rolled over Warrior Run, 59-14, to win their program's third District IV, Class AA football title.
Evan Woodward led the way, running for 197-yards and two scores on nine carries, while Brendan Gilliland had 13 carries for 188-yards and three touchdowns. Kael Millard added eight carries for 70-yards and a score, Spencer Martin had two carries for 50-yards and a touchdown with JB Burbage also getting a rushing touchdown.
Woodward was 5-for-7 for 87-yards with a touchdown from the pocket, with Mason Smith hauling in three catches for 62-yards and a score.
Gavin Lykon-Leffler went 5-for-6 on extra points on the night.
Defensively Troy saw three different players get interceptions: Lincoln Chimics, Smith, and Ben Osgood.
A pair of long Woodward scoring runs - 75 and 66 yards - put Troy up 12-0 halfway through the first quarter. A Warrior Run touchdown late in the frame cut it to 12-7.
Gilliland then got in on the act in the second quarter, getting two touchdown runs of nine and 19 yards, to make it 25-7 at the half.
The Trojans then rattled off three touchdowns in the third - a 4-yard Millard run, a 51-yard pass from Woodward to Smith, and a 5-yard Burbage run - to put the game into mercy rule 45-7.
After another Defender score early in the fourth Troy got touchdown runs from Gilliland (43-yards) and Martin (46-yards) to end the game.
