Trojans Place 4 On Podium At Southern Tier Memorial Tournament

Troy had four wrestlers finish on the podium at the second annual Southern Tier Memorial Tournament.
Jacob Hinman (160) was fourth, Reed Palmer (215) took seventh, while Kenyon Slater (152) and Carter Austin (145) both came home with eighth place medals.
Hinman went 4-1, his only loss coming by sudden victory, 3-1, to the eventual champion.
William Steele (160) and Rylan Breidt (190) both lost in the blood round, just missing the podium. Jay Cummings (101), Wilder Koch (124), Logan Heasley (138), and Keagan Kerr (131) also came up short in the wrestle backs.
