The Troy boys' basketball teams struggled with turnovers and controlling the defensive boards in the fourth quarter as they fell to Loyalsock, 67-57, in the District IV, Class AAA title game.
They had leads in the second and third quarters, but a Loyalsock push late in the third put them up, and the Lancers never relinquished it.
Troy would hit four 3-balls in the final frame, but couldn't catch Loyalsock.
Lincoln Chimics had 23 points to lead Troy - netting 12 in the third quarter alone - to go with two steals, as Colin Loveland added nine points, all on threes and all in the fourth.
Lance Heasley had eight points and seven boards off the bench, providing a first quarter spark. Jack Burbage finished with seven points and four boards, as Evan Woodward had five points and six assists.
Joseph Frye hit a long distance buzzer beater for three points as Jackson Taylor finished with two points and four assists. Taylor and Burbage battled foul trouble for much of the game.
