Lady Warriors Fall To Rival Troy

Canton led early but ultimately fell to Troy, 59-40, during NTL girls’ basketball action.
The Warriors led 12-10 after the first quarter, but a 13-5 Troy run in the second put them down 23-17 at the half. Troy would out score them 36-23 the rest of the way.
Cailyn VanNoy led Canton with 16 points, four rebounds, four assists, and three steals, while Lydia Roupp had 10 points on 4-for-9 shooting, to go with five rebounds.
Danah Wesneski added six points, as Alexis McRoberts had four points and 14 boards. Kendall Kitchen added four points, and three steals.
