Lady Warriors Fall To Athens In Overtime, 36-32

The Canton girls' hoops team dropped an overtime contest to Athens, 36-32, during NTL girls' basketball action.
Canton rallied from a 6-point deficit to start the fourth to tie things up on a pair of Cailyn VanNoy free throws to force overtime. In the extra period Athens out scored Canton 10-6 for the win.
VanNoy had a strong game for Canton, going 5-for-10 from the field for 17 points while adding five boards and three steals.
Kendall Kitchen added eight points and six rebounds, as Daveian Crowley netted four points to go with 15 boards.
Alexis McRoberts had three points, five rebounds, and three assists.
