Canton girls' basketball defeated North Penn-Liberty, 43-29, to claim their third straight Christmas Tournament title.
Cailyn VanNoy had 18 points on 5-for-9 shooting from deep for the Warriors, while adding four rebounds, and three steals.
Kendall Kitchen added 13 points, four assists, and four rebounds, along with some tough defense on NPL’s top scorer, Haley Litzelman, holding her to nine points in the contest.
Alexis McRoberts added six points on 3-for-5 shooting with six boards, as Danah Wesneski netted five, and Lydia Roupp chipped in with one.
Canton defeated Galeton, 58-15, in the opener.
Kendall Kitchen went off for 21 points on 9-for-15 shooting, while adding three steals, as Cailyn VanNoy had 13 points on 4-for-8 shooting, to go with five assists, and six steals.
Cheyenne Fitch added eight points on 3-for-6 shooting, plus six boards, as Lydia Roupp had six points, and five rebounds. Danah Wesneski, and Emma McGee added five points apiece.
Alexis McRoberts chipped in with nine boards, and three steals.
