Wellsboro's JV Football team shut out Cowanesque Valley 34-0 to pick up their first win of the season on Monday, September 23.
Freshman Kody Enck ran in a pair of touchdowns and threw one to sophomore Nathan Love. Junior Dylan Copp also ran in a score.
"I'm proud of the boys effort tonight," said coach Bryce Bitner. "We ran the ball effectively and efficiently. Our offensive line played together as a unit and paved the way for our backs to make explosive plays. Defensively we made stops and attacked the line of scrimmage, which helped us work hand in hand as a team to come out with a win. We’re looking forward to getting back to practice and preparing for Athens this Friday night."
Wellsboro (1-2) hosts Athens next Monday.
