Hughesville Shuts Out Wellsboro, 4-0

Wellsboro suffered a 4-0 non-league loss to Hughesville on Saturday, September 14.
Hughesville scored twice in the first period, then added two more goals in the second period.
The Lady Spartans out shot Wellsboro 26-2. Senior Cassidy Mitchell and sophomore Ella Boyce took the shots for Wellsboro. Sophomore Jadyn Dunlap made 12 saves in goal.
Hughesville also shut out Wellsboro in the JV game, winning 10-0.
The loss drops Wellsboro to 2-4 (2-3 NTL). The team is back in action on Tuesday against Towanda.
