The Wellsboro Wrestling team fell 51-15 to Wyalusing in their home opening match on Tuesday, December 17.
The Rams opened the match winning the first three bouts at 121, 127 and 133 before junior Mason Nowak pinned Matthew Johnson in 5:27 at 139 to score Wellsboro's first points of the match.
Wyalusing then ran off four more wins at 145, 152, 160 and 172 to increase their lead to 40-6.
Senior Ryder Bowen pinned Dominick Hadlock in 1:39 at 189 and junior Hayden Stevens won a 12-6 decision at 285 for the Hornets' final win of the night.
Wyalusing won the Junior High match 66-6. Wellsboro's lone win came from Lance Starkweather, who scored a forfeit at 190.
Wellsboro (0-8, 0-2 NTL) hosts rival North Penn-Liberty on Thursday.
