Hornets Defeat Liberty In Bocce Ball, 2-0

The Wellsboro Bocce Ball team picked up another win on Wednesday, January 31, defeating North Penn-Liberty, 2-0.
The Hornets took the first game 8-2 and won the second 6-3.
Liberty jumped out to an early 2-0 lead with a pair of points in the first frame of game one, but then the Hornets rolled off 8 quick points in frames 2-6 for the win.
The Mounties again took an early 2-0 lead in game two, but just like the first game, Wellsboro made up the ground and scored 5 points in frames 2-5 and their final point in the 7th frame.
Wellsboro travels to Williamson Friday afternoon for their next contest.
