Hornet Swimmers Compete Against Athens, Towanda

The Wellsboro Swim Team took part in a dual meet between Athens and Towanda on Thursday, January 18.
Senior Madison Robbins swam 2:43.30 in the 200 IM and 1:05.64 in the 100 Free, senior Isobel Anderegg posted times of 27.75 in the 50 Free and 1:18.78 in the 100 Breaststroke, and sophomore Makenna Robbins swam 28.42 in the 50 Free and 6:05.40 in the 500 Free.
Senior Caralyn Warner recorded times of 28.70 in the 50 Free and 1:10.82 in the 100 Backstroke, sophomore Kristina Belz swam 34.02 in the 50 Free and 1:24.92 in the 100 Breaststroke, and freshman Ethan Pollaro swam 28.53 (50 Free) and 1:23.58 (100 Fly).
The team is back in the pool next Tuesday at Jersey Shore.
