Hornet Bocce Ball Team Sweeps North Penn-Mansfield

The Wellsboro Unified Bocce Ball team swept rival North Penn-Mansfield 2-0 on Senior Night on Wednesday, February 7.
The Hornets took the first game 6-3 and won the second 8-1.
In the first game Wellsboro took an early lead with 2 points in the first frame and one in the second. Mansfield scored a point in the third frame, but Wellsboro quickly added two more points in the 4th and added their final one in the 7th.
In game two the Hornets dominated, posting 8 straight points before the Tigers got on the scoreboard. They scored one in the 1st frame, two in the 2nd, one in the 3rd, two in the 4th, and a point each in the 5th and 6th frames.
