Canton Holds Off Wyalusing To Finish Regular Season 11-8

WYALUSING - Canton swept Wyalusing, 3-0, during NTL volleyball action Tuesday, winning the sets 26-24, 25-14, and 25-23.

Tara Gilbert had 12 points, six kills, three digs, three aces, and an assist, with Addi Pepper getting seven points, 12 assists, three aces, two kills, and four digs.

Kendall Kitchen had a double-double of 10 points, 15 digs, and a kill, as MaKenna Seachrist notched 15 points, six kills, five aces, and a dig.

Cailyn VanNoy had 10 points, nine digs, four kills, an assist, and an ace, with Nevaeh Vroman getting 10 digs, eight assists, seven points, and ace, and a kill.

Dana Wesneski had five kills and three assists, as Addy Cardona had four kills and a block.

Wyalusing won the JV match 25-20, and 25-16.

Cardona had four kills, two blocks, a dig, and an ace for the Warriors as Vroman had three digs, an ace, and an assist.

Alyssa May had an ace, three digs, and three kills, with Jericka Strozyk getting eight digs, with an ace.

Emilia Pepper had two aces with a kill, Wesneski had an ace, and a kill, Danika Burgess added a dig, and a kill, and Ashley Valera added five digs.

On Thursday Canton will travel to NP-Liberty while Wyalusing wraps up their season at Sayre.
