SCRANTON — Scranton Prep raced out to a seven-goal lead at halftime, and held off a second-half rally by the Seals in the boys lacrosse opener for both teams.
Brady Holmes and Quinn Lynett each had three first-half goals for Scranton Prep, which led 9-2 at the break. Holmes finished the game with four goals.
Val Barillaro had two goals for the Seals, while Jake Keeney, Caden Baer, Ty Ritter, Caleb Geipel and Ben Bucher also scored for Selinsgrove. Keeney added two assists.
Parker Atwood had 13 saves for Selinsgrove.
